Through our Children’s, Youth and Adult Recreational Dance Programs, Propeller Dance provides dance education and training through on-going dance classes that take place weekly between September and June each year. All people (people with no disabilities, people with disabilities of every level and type), are welcome to take classes. Personal support workers are welcome if necessary.

All classes are taught by Propeller Dance teachers, accompanied by professional musicians, and supported, when possible, by dance partner specialists and teaching assistants. Our classes focus on creativity and expression, as well as aerobic activity, improving strength, coordination, and flexibility. Propeller Dance teaching methodologies draw on a variety of dance genres such as contemporary dance and improvisation.

All participants have the chance to take part in our recreational dance performances.

Many new students like to try out a class to see if it suits before committing to the full term. If you would like to do a trial class first, please get in touch by emailing info@propellerdance.com.
