LL.B., LL.B. (Laval), Monica is a partner at Dentons, a global legal practice with offices in 52 countries. Monica is a recognized expert in communications law and administrative law litigation across a broad range of sectors. She has appeared before a number of federal and provincial regulatory agencies and before the Federal Court of Canada, and provincial superior and appeal courts in judicial proceedings to review department, agency, and board decisions. Prior to entering private practice, Monica clerked with Justice John Charles Major of the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also interned at the Québec Court of Appeal for Justice Paul Arthur Gendreau and is fluently bilingual. Monica is also a Part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. An active volunteer and fundraiser in the communities she serves and lives in, she is a parent of Propeller Dance students previously in the Children’s Program.
