Propeller Kids
Propeller Dance offers creative movement classes for KIDS aged 3-11 years. The classes emphasize self expression, spontaneous creativity and group and individual dance creation. Students explore shapes, stories, senses and sound through movement. Students make their own dances using their natural movements. Dance concepts such as levels, spacing, choreography, body isolation, coordination and balance are introduced. FUN is the main goal. The class exercises are chosen specifically to ensure that each student has an equal opportunity to participate.
All children with and without disabilities are invited to attend. The classes are integrated, meaning that ALL students with ALL disability types and levels are welcome. Students requiring one on one support are encouraged to bring their own. All classes are accompanied with a live musician. artistic staff:
