Propeller Dance had the pleasure of performing on November 30 at the Canadian War Museum in celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3). Organized by Employment and Social Development Canada, the event included a panel discussion led by the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities and the Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs. The focus of the discussion was how to make Canada a more accessible country.

Propeller’s performance after the discussion was actually a surprise for all of those who attended, and one that seemed to resonate with a lot of people there.

What does an accessible Canada mean to you?
